A surprising visitor at reception
Rather than facing the dangers of the street alone, a clever German Shepherd decided to head straight to the local police station for help.
This incredible story took place on 30 September. CCTV footage captured the moment the dog waited patiently outside the main entrance. As soon as an officer opened the door, the animal walked inside without a moment's hesitation.
Saved by a microchip
The initial amusement quickly turned to action. To help find the dog's family, officers took him straight to a local vet for a checkup and to scan for a microchip.
Thankfully, he was microchipped, allowing officers to safely return him home to his family. The emotional moment was even captured on camera by the police team.
