All's well that ends well. In the United States, a kitten was found completely covered in industrial glue.
As reported by the Huffington Post, the poor feline was unable to move, drink, or even eat.
A delicate rescue operation
A passer-by found him and immediately raised the alarm. The kitten was rushed to the Humane Society of North Texas, where a rescue operation began to dissolve the glue as quickly as possible.
It took a team of four staff members nearly seven hours to finally remove all the glue.
A happy ending
Named Elmer, the kitten was given regular baths to remove any remaining residue. During his recovery, he was fostered by a woman who ultimately decided to adopt him.
