This is one very brave dog. As reported by The Dodo, a dog named Missy usually spends her days at a local doggy daycare.
One day, her owners called the staff to let them know Missy wouldn't be in, as she had a vet appointment.
A surprise for the staff
On the day of the appointment, a staff member at the daycare was watching the security cameras when she spotted a familiar-looking dog calmly walking towards the entrance.
The woman rushed outside to greet the dog, only to discover it was... Missy!
The dog, who was a daily visitor, wasn't with her owners. After a quick call to them, the daycare staff discovered that Missy had done a runner.
A warm welcome
So much for the vet appointment, hello doggy daycare! The staff's astonishment quickly turned into wide smiles.
Upon her arrival, the clever dog went to say hello to everyone there and even took the opportunity to have a quick dip in the pool.
And when Missy's mum finally arrived to pick her up, they were genuinely sad to see her go.
But don't worry, she was soon back to play in her favourite place.
