A 19-year-old girl had called them to report a cat outside her home.
It was 1:30 am on the night of 8th April, and the young woman couldn't get into her flat because of a cat.
Locked out by a cat
The tomcat was hissing in front of her apartment door, preventing her from getting inside. She explained that she had been trying to shoo it away for over an hour, but to no avail. The cat was certainly not in a welcoming mood!
The police officers went to the young woman's address. Despite their best efforts, they couldn't get the cat to move either...
A police escort
The officers then had to escort the young woman to her door so she could get back into her home.
It was later discovered that the cat belonged to a neighbour in the same building. All's well that ends well!
