Walker is partially sighted and couldn't quite make out what the stray animal was. So, he called his girlfriend for help.
His girlfriend, Blaire Effler, arrived after receiving a message saying there was a stray dog in their garden and he didn't know what to do.
A surprising discovery
Blaire went outside to take a look at the stray dog, and... she immediately burst out laughing.
As it turned out, it wasn't a stray dog at all, but TWO goats.
Blaire and Walker went to their neighbours' houses to see if they could find out who the goats belonged to.
In the meantime, the pair of goats started to wander off towards the neighbouring houses. To keep them safe, Blaire went and fetched them, putting them in her fenced garden.
A happy reunion
A short while later, some neighbours came over to let them know that the goats belonged to them.
Apparently, the clever little goats had escaped from their own garden to go exploring. Their family only realised they were gone when they heard shouting.
Thankfully, the goats were reunited with their family, but that hasn't stopped them from escaping again whenever they feel like it!
Now, Blaire and Walker see the goats from time to time and have made sure to exchange numbers with their family to let them know.
The whole neighbourhood now knows that if they see goats in their garden, it's perfectly normal!
