One December, a delivery driver opened his car door to deliver a customer's pizza.
The moment he opened the door, a long-haired white, ginger and grey cat immediately jumped inside his vehicle.
A surprise encounter
The driver immediately thought it was the customer's cat. After giving her a gentle stroke, he placed the cat in front of the house and rang the doorbell to deliver the pizza. When the customer opened the door, the driver complimented them on their lovely cat.
But the customer explained that it wasn't their cat! In fact, her story was heartbreaking. She had belonged to the previous owner of the house, who had simply left her behind when they moved away...
A heartbreaking abandonment
Ever since, she had been living on the streets, though the neighbours looked out for her and gave her food. Unfortunately, no one in the neighbourhood could take her in, as they all had several pets already.
The delivery driver offered to take the cat home with him. He took her to the vet for a check-up first to make sure everything was alright. Since then, the cat, now named Ringo, has been thriving in her new home, delighted to have been adopted by the very human she had chosen!
