Many pet owners are organising creative egg hunts to celebrate the holiday with their four-legged friends.
A magical moment
That's certainly the case in the video below, which shows a wonderful egg hunt for three Huskies.
Their owner has set up a special trail for them to search for eggs in the garden.
The eggs are scattered and hidden all over the place: in the corners of the patio, on the table, and on the small garden slide. The pooches just have to use their keen sense of smell to find them.
Of course, the eggs aren't made of chocolate, which is toxic for dogs. Instead, they are plastic eggs filled with... tasty dog treats!
The dogs are absolutely thrilled with this activity and put all their energy into finding the eggs, or rather, the treats inside!
A fun and safe activity
This Easter egg hunt is an excellent way to provide mental stimulation through a fun searching and scenting game!
However, if you decide to organise an egg hunt at home, make sure the eggs are large enough that your dogs can't accidentally swallow them.
And if your dog tends to chew on plastic, it's best to hide the treats directly in the garden instead.
