Couple return from pool to find their sun lounger "stolen": the intruder changes their vacation plans

Helena and her partner Adam were enjoying their holiday in Turkey when they had a very strange encounter on their first day.

After a dip in their hotel pool, Helena and Adam went back to their sun loungers.

But they were stunned to discover that their lounger had been stolen... And not just by anyone!

A little intruder

An adorable ginger and white cat was napping in the sun, completely relaxed. It's not unusual to see cats wandering around the hotel grounds in Turkey, but there was something very special about this ginger cat, who the couple named Puck.

Most of the other stray cats at the hotel only paid attention to humans if they were offered food, but that wasn't the case with Puck at all. He immediately connected with Helena, rolling around beside her and gently "making biscuits" – kneading her with his paws.

A big decision

Gradually, Helena started to develop a real soft spot for Puck. The day she realised the tomcat had ear mites, she wanted to get him treated. But then she thought about it: if she treated Puck only for him to return to the stray cat colony, the treatment wouldn't be much use.

So, she started thinking about something "bigger" for Puck. She began to consider adopting the cat and taking him home with her to the Czech Republic. When she asked a hotel manager if this was even possible, she was almost expecting a "no", but his response was quite the opposite!

He helped her find a rescue centre to arrange the adoption and transport the cat to the Czech Republic. Today, it's official: Puck is living in his new home with Helena and Adam, along with his feline brother Guts, and they get along wonderfully!
