A rooftop pool party
On 7th July, a resident in an apartment block saw an unexpected sight from his window. On the roof of a neighbouring building, a Golden Retriever was happily spinning around in a small inflatable pool. Filmed from his flat and posted on TikTok (@yankoanthonyc), the scene quickly won over people online.
The video opens with a wide shot of the surrounding rooftops, before zooming in to reveal the dog, who is clearly delighted with his activity. The ground around the pool was soaked, a sign that the animal had been having fun for quite some time. Nearby, four people, likely his owner and some friends, were enjoying the sun on loungers, seemingly savouring the spectacle.
A simple and infectious joy
The on-screen text summarises the scene: ”Someone is really enjoying their pool”. Since it was posted, the video has been viewed more than 3.1 million times and liked over 881,000 times. The comments are full of humour and imagination, with everyone trying to guess what the dog might have been thinking at that moment.
