Recently, Susan decided to share the story of a little dog named Jynni.
Jynni arrived at the shelter with her six littermates after they were all abandoned in the woods.
Very weak puppies
The poor puppies were in a dreadful state and very thin. Sadly, the shelter was overcrowded and couldn't take the little ones in... So, the rescuers cared for them in a horse trailer while they waited for a kennel to become available.
When a space finally opened up, Jynni and her siblings were brought inside and fed a special diet to help them gain weight. Tragically, three of Jynni's siblings were too weak to survive their ordeal and passed away at the shelter.
A chance at survival
It was then that Susan started creating content to raise awareness for the puppies. Gradually, Jynni and her brother Remi began to put on weight. They grew stronger and, with Susan's help, learned how to walk on a lead and play with soft toys.
Eventually, Jynni was adopted... but it was very short-lived. Just a few days later, her adopter brought her back, which broke the hearts of Susan and everyone at the shelter. Fortunately, the organisation Adopt a Stray Rescue agreed to take the little dog into their care while she waits to find her forever home. We're keeping everything crossed that Jynni finds her perfect family soon, and for good this time!
