The sweet smell of clean laundry
It's laundry day. On this day, the shelter staff wash and dry all the blankets, then place them back on the dogs' little beds, all clean and still warm from the dryer.
The dogs then head back to their kennels, ready to snuggle into their fresh bedding.
The HES team filmed the moment the dogs returned to their kennels on laundry day, and it's clear to see just how delighted they are with their clean blankets!

Each dog has its own unique reaction, but they all share one common feeling: fresh, clean blankets are simply the best!
The HES shelter explained that they are a non-profit organisation. As such, they rely on the generosity of donors to provide the creature comforts that the animals in their care need.
HES hopes to receive more donations so they can continue to welcome all their new arrivals in the best possible conditions.
In the meantime, they will continue to shower the dogs with love and, of course, provide a warm, clean blanket for them to snuggle into for the night!
