Ollie was born different: the puppy was blind. Sadly, because of his disability, his breeder planned to have him euthanised.
As reported by Newsweek, Morgan, from South Florida in the US, was looking to adopt a dog. After getting in touch with a rescue organisation, she was told about Ollie's case.
"According to the rescue, someone in Alabama found out he was going to be euthanised by his breeder. So they contacted our rescue in South Florida, which brought him here," Morgan explained.
A second chance
Despite his disability, Morgan didn't hesitate for a moment. "As soon as I saw him, I knew he was meant for our family," she said. "He's honestly the best, and we love him to bits."
Despite some discomfort in his eyes, Ollie settled into his new home very quickly and soon learned to find his way around his new surroundings.
Raising awareness
To encourage potential adopters to consider dogs with disabilities, Morgan has even created a TikTok account for her beloved pet.
"I wanted to share Ollie's story to raise awareness about unscrupulous breeders, but also to encourage and promote adoption," said Morgan.
