On the 5th of February, Huxley the Golden Retriever had Instagram users in stitches.
It was Ursula, the two dogs' owner, who captured the moment on video.
Irresistible bacon
As the video clip begins, his canine brother is lying quietly on the sofa. He can be seen slowly turning his head towards his brother, Huxley, who is off-camera at this point. Then, his owner starts filming Huxley... who is busy licking the entire television screen.
The reason? The TV was showing a mouth-watering image of three slices of bacon sizzling in a pan. The sizzling sound from the pan, combined with the sight of the bacon, was simply too much for Huxley to handle.
An absolute fan
The Golden Retriever shows no sign of wanting to leave the screen alone. He'll probably keep licking it until the bacon comes out for real. Poor thing, if only he knew!
The pooch certainly gave internet users a good laugh: "Huxley thinks it's giant bacon!" To which Ursula replied: "Yes, lol". Another person joked: "Sometimes I do the same thing!" For others, it was: "And now, clean the TV!" Well, that might be a bit of a challenge!
