Jamieson shared a peaceful life with Simon, her dog she had adopted a few years earlier. The pair, who live in Canada, loved to walk in their local park, sit down, and enjoy a doughnut together.
Sadly, their routine was turned upside down when Jamieson discovered that Simon had histiocytic sarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer. After six months of treatment, the disease had spread, and Simon's quality of life began to decline.
A loving farewell
When Jamieson realised her beloved dog only had a few days left, she decided to give him a send-off filled with love.
She set up a fundraiser to collect donations, hoping to buy doughnuts to share with the entire Vancouver community.
A heartwarming gathering
While many of the attendees were Simon's long-time friends, some were meeting him for the very first time. Simon's farewell party was a happy event that truly warmed his owner's heart.
Simon passed away just a few days after his farewell party.
