Couple visiting cat's grave get a 'sign' that changes their lives forever

This is the story of how a 'sign' completely changed one couple's life.

Since their cat, Skye, passed away in August 2025, Fifi and Kareem have been regular visitors to his grave.

Skye was buried in a pet cemetery in Los Angeles, California. In October, as the couple were decorating their beloved pet's grave, a wonderful surprise was waiting for them.

Seemingly out of nowhere, a ginger cat appeared to greet them. For the couple, there was no doubt: this cat was a sign from Skye.

A mysterious visitor

The cat stayed with the couple for their entire visit. Intrigued by his behaviour, Fifi did a little digging. She learned from a cemetery employee that the tomcat was a regular visitor to the grounds.

So, Kareem decided to buy a microchip scanner to find out whether or not the cat had an owner.

A new beginning

But the scanner wasn't needed. While chatting to another woman there, the couple discovered that the cat had been abandoned by his owner.

That was all they needed to hear to decide to adopt him. After a trip to the vet for some flea treatment and to get him rehydrated, the cat joined his new family at the end of 2025.
