She adopted Olive Jean from a rescue centre in early 2025.
Because the sweet dog spent time in kennels, there are sadly some things she's never experienced before.
Her first Christmas
For example, she's never known the excitement and joy of the festive season. So, when Olive Jean saw the Christmas tree lit up in the living room for the very first time, her reaction was quite surprising.
At first, the dog didn't understand where the lights were coming from. They were actually the reflections of the fairy lights on the ceiling. After spotting the twinkling lights and shining stars above her, Olive seemed completely mesmerised. She just couldn't take her eyes off the tree, and it's absolutely adorable to watch!

Jennifer regularly shares videos of Olive enjoying her new life to the fullest: lounging on the bed all day, finding sticks on her walks, and sunbathing in the garden.
