Draco's owner shared a video of the pup's first night in his new home.
A very shy puppy
The puppy was tiny back then and could hide in the tightest of spaces, which is certainly not the case today!
In the caption of the video, posted on 2nd February, Draco's owner wrote from his perspective: "It was the first night I met my family. I was so scared. I didn't want to come out. My mum finally got me out with food."
Draco had actually squeezed himself into the gap between the wall and the washing machine. He was reluctant to come out, as he was a little overwhelmed by his new surroundings.
A tasty solution
You can see his mum trying to coax him out with her voice, but it has no effect whatsoever!
In the end, a few treats were enough to convince him to poke his nose out. Since then, Draco has grown up a lot and is now thriving in his new home.
Viewers shared their own similar experiences: "When my cat was a kitten, she used to sleep behind the fridge and we'd spend hours trying to find her."
Another commented: "Mine hid under the sofa. I felt so bad for him. I slept on the floor next to the sofa for a week to be with him."
