A very 'hairy' animal
At first, they were quite frightened that it might be a wild animal like a raccoon. In fact, it was a very fluffy cat who rather fancied warming up on a human's lap! The cat was very friendly and had nothing wild about it whatsoever. The couple went to bed laughing at their confusion.
During the night, the lady woke up to another surprise. She discovered the cat was sleeping on their bed! The family fell head over heels for the cat.
A big decision
Eventually, the couple decided to take the cat home with them. They had made the decision to adopt her, but that was before they discovered the whole truth about the cat... As it turned out, the moggy already had a family! She wasn't a stray cat at all. Her name was Liona and she had her own home.
