At first, this illusion may seem easy. After all, there are clearly four animals, aren't there? In actual fact, there are many more! Can you find them?

When you first look at the image, the elephant is obvious. Followed closely by a donkey, a dog and a cat.

But what if we told you there are 16 in total, some are just harder to spot than others.

It's all in the details

As with many optical illusions, the trick here lies in the smaller details.

The bigger animals may be the most obvious, but if you look closer at the white dots and lines, other animals start to become clearer.

5 and counting

To find all 16 animals takes a keen eye and lots of imagination.

Luckily, we have the answers. So if you still can't spot them, here's what you've been waiting for:

1. Elephant - The outer shape of the image.

2. Donkey - Quite easily spotted, within the legs of the elephant.

3. Dog - Within the donkey.

4. Cat - Within the dog.

5. Mouse - In black, underneath the cat.

6. Turtle - This forms the shape of the elephant's ear.

7. Fish - The eye of the elephant.

8. Crocodile - The lower lip of the elephant.

9. Snake - The tail of the elephant, in black.

10. Crab - Between the elephant's front legs.

11. Chicken - The ears of the donkey.

12. Dolphin - The trunk of the elephant, in black.

13. Swordfish - Between the hind legs of the elephant.

14. Mosquito - Above the hindquarters of the donkey, in white.

15. Bird's head - Between the trunk and the elephant's head.

16. Beaver- Above the elephant's ear.

Now can you see them?

Even with the answers to hand, we still struggled to spot the beaver, the swordfish, the bird and the crab!
