Today, that kitten, named Leo, has become an inseparable part of his life. Recently, Jomarie brought Leo back to the exact spot where he was found, and the cat's reaction is touching hearts everywhere.
Surprise discovery
When Leo was discovered, he was just a few weeks old and desperate for attention. The kitten even climbed onto Jomarie's dog to get noticed.
Moved by Leo's plight, Jomarie decided to take him home. A vet later suggested that Leo was likely the weakest of a stray litter and possibly abandoned.
Leo now accompanies Jomarie, a stuntman, to work and travels, often walking on a leash or riding in a special backpack.
On a recent trip, they revisited the spot where Leo was found. Captured on video, Leo's reaction was immediate and emotional.
Remarkable reaction
Recognising the area, Leo became visibly nervous and quickly climbed into Jomarie's backpack, seemingly seeking reassurance and safety.
Jomarie shared the moment on social media, noting how Leo seemed to understand exactly where he was. "Not the reaction I was expecting, but you can see in his face that he totally understood," Jomarie wrote. "He led me to the spot I found him in and looked around for his littermates."
Leo's response highlights his deep bond with Jomarie, proving they are definitely soul mates.
