The male kitten was so young it was still almost completely blind. It likely fell from its mother's mouth while being carried, and the cat didn't return for it for whatever reason.
Rescued in the nick of time
The dirty and scrawny-looking kitten was so small he could have easily been overlooked. Fortunately, kind-hearted passersby spotted him and were determined to help. If they hadn't, the kitten would have probably died of hypothermia or been hit by a car.
But being taken in by a good samaritan was just the start of a challenging road for this kitten. With no mother cat around to care for him and being so very young, the outlook didn't look good for the kitten, now named Anju.
However, his carers were determined to do their very best for him, including feeding him every few hours.
Bright future for Anju
Soon, Anju started to gain weight and grow stronger, and his fur became thicker. Eventually, Anju was able to start eating on his own and became an independent little kitten.
Anju's owners documented the kitten's progress in a heartwarming video showing his incredible transformation from a tiny and helpless kitten to a strong and thriving cat! Isn't it amazing what love can do?
