Barney - In Ayr looking for a home

Meet Barney – small in size, BIG in personality!

Barney is a 5-month-old bundle of fun who is guaranteed to bring laughter, energy, and lots of love into your life. With his long little body and short legs, he’s about Jack Russell size and although he will continue to grow he will always be on the smaller side. What he lacks in size, he more than makes up for in character! This delightful boy is full of joy, fun and affection. He absolutely loves people and greets everyone like a new best friend.

Barney is a typical puppy—playful, cheeky, and sometimes a little bit demanding—but he’s easily managed and will settle if ignored. Importantly, he has no aggression at all, just a zest for life and a love of attention.

Barney’s favourite things - Playing with toys (the more, the better!), Making doggy friends, Being involved in everything you’re doing, Fun, games, and lots of interaction Barney gets on brilliantly with other dogs and loves to play. However, he can be a bit unsure around food with other dogs (he’s absolutely fine with treats), so he would need to be fed separately in a multi-dog home.

He could live with children as he’s a robust little lad, but like many puppies, he can be a bit mouthy, so playtimes would need to be supervised while he continues learning his manners.

Training & needs: • Not yet lead trained – this will need to be started, Virtually toilet trained and will wait to be let out so will just need ongoing training to embed in a new home, Needs continued guidance to build good habits,  Not destructive Barney is a high-energy pup, so he’s looking for an active home that can keep him entertained with plenty of exercise, play, and mental stimulation. He’d love a family who will include him in adventures and give him the time and training he needs to grow into an amazing companion.

The important bits: • Currently in Ayr – adopters must be able to travel to meet and collect, Adoption donation: £500, Not yet castrated (this will be part of his adoption contract)

Comes with pet passport, vaccinations, and required tests

Home check required before meet & greet Barney is looking for a fun, loving home where his big personality will be embraced and where he can enjoy the happy, active life he deserves.
