Meet Lottie – our perfect little lady looking for her forever home

Sweet little Lottie is currently in foster in Ayr after sadly losing her beloved mum.

She first came to us back in 2019,when she was lucky enough to be adopted by a lovely lady and enjoyed 5–6 happy years in a home. She was rehomed briefly after her initial return but due to a change in circumstances following a family illness, Lottie has found herself back in our care once again.

Understandably, she first arrived a little nervous and shy—but it didn’t take long for her true personality to shine through. And what a girl she is

Lottie is 7 years old and is an absolute gem. She loves everyone she meets and greets visitors like old friends, always ready for cuddles. She’s currently our little office dog and is perfectly clean indoors, happy to potter about and keep everyone company. She is a jack Russel sized pooch so perfect sized for sofa cuddles.

She also: Travels beautifully in the car, Walks nicely on the lead, Loves playing with her toys

Enjoys the company of other dogs In her foster home, Lottie has been fantastic with the other dogs she lives with, including puppies. She’ll happily join in playtime but isn’t afraid to gently tell the youngsters off when they get a bit too cheeky—just good manners, never anything more.

Lottie would suit many types of homes, but we feel she’d be happiest in a calm, loving environment where she can enjoy the quieter life she deserves. A home with a garden would be ideal, though not essential. Because of her age, we think she’d prefer a home without young children. More than anything, Lottie loves to snuggle up beside you and just be part of your world. She truly is a perfect wee dog, now just waiting for her perfect forever home.

If you think you could give Lottie the happy ending she deserves, please get in touch. Adoption donation is £500. A successful home check must be completed before a meet and greet can be arranged. Adopters must be able to travel to Ayr to meet and collect. Please read our adoption process here: https://www.savingandrehomingstrays.org/adopt-a-dog Once read, complete the application form linked on that page. We look forward to hearing from you
