Trixie and Toffee: male dog to adopt

Trixie and Toffee have come into us due to a change in their owners circumstances. They are a lovely pair of sisters who have been together since birth so must be rehomed together. The girls are a lovely pair who can be a little barky with strangers at first but once you give them a treat and say hello they will be your best friend.

They both love to play ball and would play all day if they could. They are energetic girls who will need an active family home who can provide them with lots of mental and physical stimulation. They love their long walks so will need an active owner. They can be reactive to new dogs at first but are very friendly with them once properly introduced.

The girls are lap dogs and are very content to snuggle up to you in bed or on the sofa in the evenings. Trixie loves belly rubs and Toffee loves to lay on your shoulder cuddled up to your face. They love to cuddle up with their people on the sofa and enjoy sleeping under the blankets. The girls aren't very keen on being left home alone and Toffee can become quite distressed which can lead to her becoming destructive. They are a lovely duo who would like a home with a very secure garden of their own to run around off lead freely in as they have no recall so cannot be let off lead in public areas.

Trixie and Toffee have previously lived with another dog before and could potentially live with a neutered male dog. They cannot be homed with cats or small furries. The girls have previously lived with children before and could live with older children.
