Meet Mozart - our beautiful, brave Setter!

Mozart was found roaming the streets in desperate need of help. Thin and weak, he was diagnosed with leishmaniasis, a condition that can be life-threatening if left untreated. Thankfully with plenty of love and care, he's now happy, healthy, and very ready to find a family of his own!

Mozart is a gentle, affectionate boy, always doing his best to please and quietly waiting his turn for a bit of attention. He is loving, obedient and good with other dogs - he just desperately needs to find a family who will look past his condition to see what an absolute treasure he really is!

While Mozart currently shows no symptoms, he will always have leishmaniasis (albeit potentially completely dormant). Dogs with leishmaniasis have an incredibly difficult time finding homes, but many of them live completely normal lives. It just means Mozart may need to take a tablet a day, and he will need to be monitored over time to keep him feeling happy and healthy. The rescue will guide any potential adopters through everything they need to know, providing both support and the medication itself. 

He is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, and he’s ready to travel to his forever home in the UK.
