Meet Apolla: A Loving, Playful Companion! 🌟
✨Adoptive home wanted✨
🥰Is someone ready to welcome a bundle of joy, energy, and affection into their home? Apolla, a nearly 3-year-old female, is the perfect addition to any family looking for a playful and loving companion.
🐾 About Apolla:
🕰️Age: Nearly 3 years old
💖Gender: Female
📍Location: Hampshire
🏡Home requirements:
🪴Garden: Apolla needs direct access to a large private garden
🐕Dogs: Apolla needs to be homed with other dogs as they significantly help her confidence, a home without any other dogs would not be suitable.
👦🏻Children: Due to her nerves, Apolla needs an adult only home
🐱Apolla is not cat tested, so will need a cat free home.
💫Experience: Apolla needs a home that has experience with nervous dogs.
🐶Apolla is a delight to be around, with her playful antics bringing smiles to everyone she meets. She’s known for her love of playing with the Hoover, nibbling quilt ends, and occasionally taking off with a shoe or two! Her playful barks when the phone rings and her joyous bounces at dinner time show just how food-motivated and happy she truly is.
🐾 Favourite Memories with Apolla:
Her enthusiasm in the mornings, greeting her family with endless joy.
The first time she came up to her fosterers for a stroke, melting their fosterers’ hearts.
Taking a treat from her fosterer for the first time.
Her bouncy antics around the Hoover, making even chores a joyful experience.
😨Apolla is initially very hesitant, as seen in one early incident where she nipped out of fear. Sometimes during fear, it may cause her to have an accident. However, with time, she has since adapted beautifully, showing no further incidents. She adores playing with her toys and is highly motivated by treats, which bring her immense happiness. Due to her nerves, she still doesn’t go on walks and isn’t comfortable with wearing a collar.
🐾 Compatibility & Training:
Apolla knows her name and responds to commands like “bed” and “treat”. While she’s comfortable with the three dogs in her home, her reaction to unfamiliar dogs is untested, though she seems confident in social settings. Initially scared, with time and patience, Apolla shows no known fears when comfortable. She may bark at doors or ringing phones, but these are areas still being worked on.
🩺Apolla is spayed, microchipped, flea & wormed, and brucellosis and 4DX tested.

🚗 For travel, it is asked that fosterers and adopters interested in UK-based dogs assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter’s expense.
