⭐️ADOPTIVE HOME WANTED⭐️
🐶Name: Codie
🕰️Age: 3 Years Old
📏Size: Small/medium
💖Gender: Female
📍Location: Leicester
🐕Are you searching for a loving companion who will fill your life with warmth and joy? Look no further than Codie, an adorable 1-year-old small to medium-sized pup who's ready to find her forever home! Codie is a delightful mixture of affection, cleverness, and exuberant energy that makes her an absolute joy to be around.
🏡From the moment Codie arrived, it was clear she's a quick learner and a spirited fuss pot! Within just a day or two, she had mastered the command "sit," showing just how eager she is to please and learn new tricks. Watching her sit patiently for a belly rub, with that irresistible happy wiggle of hers, is bound to make your heart melt. Codie loves attention and affection, and she'll definitely soak up all the love you have to give!
🍖Codie is also an enthusiastic foodie! She absolutely adores meal time and will happily devour her food, especially if there are tasty tidbits involved. While she's made great strides with her training, her new family will need to be mindful that she has a tendency to jump on counters and help herself to any leftovers. With some positive reinforcement and guidance, we have no doubt she can learn the rules of the kitchen!
🐕🦺When it comes to walks, Codie is a dream. She's very good on the lead and doesn’t pull, which makes strolling through the neighborhood an enjoyable experience. Her fosterer is still working on helping her understand to stay on one side while walking, but with a little patience and practice, she's sure to get the hang of it!
🧠Codie is still learning her name and may need a couple of gentle reminders to sit at times, but she’s making excellent progress. Although she has been in and out of her crate while with her fosterer, it’s clear that she prefers her cozy rectangular dog bed, curling up in there for comfort and relaxation.
💘As sweet and affectionate as she is, Codie has shown some signs of nervousness when introduced to new situations or stimuli. Her fosterer is working on building her confidence around traffic and busy environments, encouraging her to take it all in at her own pace while continuing to enjoy her walks. With her new homes support and patience, she'll surely blossom into the confident pup she is meant to be.
🐈Codie can live with dogs and dog savvy children, but isn’t cat tested
🩺Codie is a healthy girl, but she is 50% blind in one eye, the vets believe that this is a birth defect, this does not affect her and she is very happy despite this. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea & wormed, spayed, brucellosis & 4DX tested

🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary, but this will be at the adopter's expense.
