Rosie: female dog to adopt

Gorgeous Rosie was discovered on the outskirts of the nearby woods.

Rosie is a friendly girl, even to people she doesn’t know, and she shows affection towards humans. She is a confident girl and sometimes needs to be reminded that she isn’t in charge, with some tasty treats, of course. Rosie enjoys being petted and human laps!

Rosie has shared her space with bigger and smaller dogs (males mainly). She has been exposed to cats, and she showed curiosity and was intrigued by the free movement of the cats. Rosie has met children and behaviours well, so she could live with dog-savvy children 10+.

Rosie has been at the shelter for 3 years and would love to find a forever home. An adult single/couple or a family with older children would be perfect for her. She is pretty energetic, although being stuck in the kennels makes her energy build up. With a regular walking routine, she will likely be less enthusiastic. We wouldn’t expect her to be able to do hours upon hours of walking/ hiking without some build-up of exercise first.

Rosie was great at the grooming session in the summer and had some training to get her use to the lead. She is spayed and fully vaccinated.

Rosie is currently in rescue in Romania, but she can travel to the UK as soon as she finds her family.
