Rescue Story: BOOM, part of a delightful trio, along with BAGUS and BECCI, was brought to the rescue at the age of 7-8 weeks by militaries who found those three little siblings on a field in one of the de-occupied areas of Kharkiv region, Ukraine. Not a long story.. Just another victim of war. Just very lucky ones to be found and rescued.
BOOM is a very comfortable lower-medium size. He doesn't demand a lot of attention, but he's always delighted when called for affection. If not, he will play with balls, toys, or other dogs. He thrives in the company of canine companions and would greatly benefit from having another dog as a playmate to keep him engaged and active.
BOOM is currently at Foster in UK and that's what Foster family say about him: " It took Boom about 3 days to settle with us but we could tell how smart and soft he was from day 1! Boom spent most of the first night peeking out from behind various doorframes at us but was won over in the end by chest strokeS and cheese, both of which he loves. Boom is definitely not as his name implies - he’s hardly made a peep since he’s been with us! A bark or growl here and there when he’s been spooked by a sudden passing noise but otherwise he’s a little ninja - he’s made me jump more times than I have him. Boom would be best suited with other dogs as he’s come from a home with many, at his current foster we don’t have other dogs and though he has been fine so far, we definitely feel he would be happier with company as he has lots of energy being a lil pup! For as much energy as he has, Boom has been more than happy snuggled up on the sofa, he picked his spot straight away and looks very confused now if he finds someone else in it! Boom has been tolerant of my 9 year old son but he is obviously unsure of him, a house with children that are old enough to respect an animals personal space would be fine though I do feel he’d be happier in a home without children, he has no real interest in playing or interacting with my son. That’s not to say he doesn’t play though! Boom has a lovely little play dance when he gets excited and prefers hand games over playing with a ball or other toys so far, he likes to play on his own terms and can keep himself entertained when everyone is busy around the house. We had two accidents the first two days but none since he’s got the hang of where everything is. Boom is not yet lead trained but is getting there and does follow at heel around the home so I don’t think it will take long for him to pick it up. Boom is an absolutely lovely pup and will be a brilliant addition to his forever family If you're looking for a loving and energetic companion, BOOM is ready to fill your life with joy and laughter. Give him a chance, and you'll have a loyal and playful friend for life."
BOOM has no known health issues; neutered, has all core vaccines done, microchipped. All our dogs are C.Brucella tested before travelling (owner will receive licensed laboratory test certificate).
