Black Labrador Pula featured in a series of photos and videos that the Duchess of Sussex shared for Prince Harry's 42nd birthday.

The couple adopted their beloved black Labrador Pula in 2018, just months before their wedding at Windsor Castle.

After enjoying life in Montecito, California, Pula has now returned to England, alongside the family's Beagle Mamma Mia.

A very special member of the family

On Tuesday morning, Meghan posted a birthday message to Instagram, wishing Prince Harry a happy birthday.

"He's simply the best. Happy birthday, my love", she captioned the post. The images showed Pula splashing around during a fishing trip and following Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet on a quadbike.

Pula and Mamma Mia

Pula and Mamma Mia seem to be settling happily into thier new lives in the UK, having been seen wearing birthday hats for Meghan's 45th birthday in August.

The family's chickens have remained in Montecito, where they are now being looked after by staff.
