The day Madi Kelly came to the rescue centre and met Olive, it was love at first sight.
The two of them got on so well that it felt like they were meant to be.
A loving new home
Madi adopted Olive, and the dog now lives in a comfortable home, surrounded by the love of Madi and her flatmates. This means Olive is never alone.
The dog never leaves her human's side. When Madi goes for a shower, Olive follows her right into the bathroom. Even if she is very tired and ready to fall asleep, she lies down on the little bath mat so she can always be close to her mum.
Waiting for her return
One evening, Madi had to be away for the night. She left Olive at home with her flatmates to look after her. Olive settled down by the door, waiting for her human to come back. The dog refused to move from the entrance or even sleep in her bed. So, Madi's flatmate laid some cosy blankets on the floor so Olive could sleep comfortably while she waited for her human's return.
When Madi returned, Olive was overjoyed. In the video below, you can see her tail wagging with happiness and thumping intensely on the floor, before she soaks up the cuddles from her favourite person. Olive can finally relax: her human is home at last! The scene is absolutely adorable to watch. We wish Olive and Madi many wonderful adventures together.
