The arrest took place on Wednesday, 29th April.
According to the police press release, the suspect is a 24-year-old woman.
An unqualified vet
Numerous dog owners had filed complaints against the individual. She allegedly performed veterinary procedures without following proper anaesthesia protocols, causing the animals excruciating pain and suffering.
The medical procedures included vaccinations, caesarean sections, and neutering operations. The prices charged at her clinic were significantly lower than at other veterinary practices.
Tragic consequences
As a result, several animals suffered complications following their surgeries, requiring more serious medical care. Tragically, one dog did not survive an illegal anaesthesia procedure.
The investigation revealed that the unqualified 'vet' had been posting videos of her medical procedures on social media. This footage is now being used as evidence in the case. The suspect is facing multiple charges and will have to answer for her actions in court. The case is ongoing.
