The officers received a report and shared the rescue on Facebook on 20th April.
The poor pup was at risk of dying after being locked in a car.
A cry for help
According to the person who reported the case, the situation had been going on for three weeks. A puppy, between two and three months old, was spending hours locked in a car. He was at risk of heatstroke and dying while trapped inside.
This awful situation was happening while the vehicle's owner was at work. When rescuers arrived on the scene to investigate, they found the car windows were slightly open. However, the owner told them that the puppy was let out every two hours and had an hour-long walk at lunchtime.
An immediate warning
The rescuers pointed out, however, that the puppy could die in just a few minutes if left in a car in an unshaded car park. The puppy's owner claimed the situation was only temporary.
Nevertheless, the investigators demanded that the situation change immediately. They gave him no other choice. According to their Facebook post, the puppy is now safe, but the officers have stated that they will continue to monitor the case. We hope the puppy will never face such a terrible danger again.
