A dark bag had been abandoned on the roadside near a residential area.
The officers had a gut feeling that something was trapped inside.
Trapped inside
They approached the bag and peered inside. An older cat was trapped within. The poor thing couldn't get out on his own. He was clearly disoriented and immediately sought affection from the animal control officers.
No one knows how long the poor grey and white cat had been trapped in the bag, abandoned by the last person he knew. The officers rescued the cat and took him somewhere warm and safe. They named him Bjorn.
A new chapter
The cat was a little shy at first, but he remained calm and very affectionate. Although the officers loved having Bjorn around, they knew he would be much happier in a home of his own.
So, they began the search for his forever home. Bjorn was eventually adopted by a couple who are taking wonderful care of him and are delighted to see him settling into his new home. We're thrilled for him and wish him all the best in his new chapter!
