The mystery had been going on for several months, but she finally got to the bottom of it.
The woman decided to set up a camera filming the fridge, and then she left the room.
A well-organised operation
It wasn't long before the culprit, or rather culprits, arrived on the scene. What followed was an absolutely extraordinary sight... In the video footage below, you can see the woman's four cats surrounding the fridge.
One of the four, undoubtedly the most skilled and daring, jumps up onto the fridge and starts trying to open the two doors. The other three cats stand on their hind legs and try to copy him, but without success. They do, however, make for very enthusiastic supporters in this mischievous act.
Caught in the act?
Only the black and white cat manages to open the fridge doors... And he might have gone even further, perhaps even grabbing some food from inside, if his owner hadn't caught him just in time.
The cats realise they're being watched and jump down, acting as if nothing has happened... They look at their owner with such innocent expressions... You'd almost believe they were just passing through the room, and certainly not in the middle of a well-planned heist. What a bunch of characters!
