A fight for survival
Barely a day old, a tiny kitten started crying out to be noticed.
One of the rescuers heard the cries and ran to find the source of the noise.
He opened the box and his heart broke at the sight of a black kitten, his umbilical cord still attached, with nothing but a blanket to keep him warm.
The rescuer brought the kitten, later named Warrior, inside the shelter to safety.
In need of special care
The rescuers looked for an experienced foster family to provide him with neonatal care.
Warrior was able to move in with his foster family that very same day. With time, Warrior transformed from a shy newborn into a very, very confident kitten.
He loved to play with everything around him and wasn't afraid of much. He played with the family's dogs and puppies, was curious about everything, and was very affectionate. A true little fearless kitten who certainly lived up to his name!
Today, Warrior has joined his forever family and will never again have to cry out for help to be found.
