When love is stronger than a snowstorm, it makes for a beautiful story. As reported by The Dodo, a Labrador named Fred was determined to see his sweetheart, Georgia, the neighbour's dog.
The two dogs usually see each other every day to play, but the heavy snow made their meeting a little more complicated.
Braving the elements
But that didn't matter. Fred was determined not to miss his "date". Watched by his amused and incredulous owners, the courageous Labrador set off on his adventure, braving the thick snow to meet his beautiful Georgia.
His girlfriend was waiting for him on the other side of the patio door, wagging her tail enthusiastically.
So close, yet so far
Unfortunately for the frozen suitor, the conditions were far too harsh for Georgia's owners to let her out, or to open the door to the frost-covered visitor. After a brief reunion through the glass, Fred had to turn back and head home to warm up.
