I’ve had her for a couple of weeks and at first when I got her she was going in the litter box but ever since I moved into my new apartment she’s been doing it on the bed!! It’s so frustrating and I don’t know what to do!!

I would say try to catch her in the act - if you see her on your bed, pick her up and bring her straight to the litter box. If you can’t be home to watch her, maybe close the door to your room?

Hi Matilda! I’ve had a lot of cats so I think I can give you some advice....usually when cats aren’t doing their business in the right place it’s because they’re stressed or anxious. And considering you have a kitten, and you just moved to a new place I would bet that she’s just nervous and disoriented. I think the first thing you should do is block access to your room so she stops associating going to the toilet with your bed. And make sure her litter box is in a quiet place, far from her food and water bowl. You could even use a Feliway spray around her litter box to help her feel more relaxed. Give her lots of love and attention, if she’s nervous this should help her! But don’t hesitate to go see a vet if you’re still unsure. Hope this helps!

I love cats and have 2 cats,  both over 2 years old. Recently a  cat defecated in the wrong place, and I was very upset about it. I went to ask friends who have cats like me and a friend told me some of the reasons  I see my cats have it. My friend said I have to clean the litter box and play with the cat more, or you can also put the cat food on the bed so that the cat associates the human bed with the feeding place instead of the place where it has to go. Urine. I used it on some of them and it improved. I'm glad you know how to go to the toilet in the right place as before. You can apply the ways that I have tried, hoping your cat will know how to go to the toilet in the right place.

There are many causes and ways to fix your cat going to the toilet in the wrong place, you can refer to https://www.fveap.org/why-is-my-cat-peeing-on-my-bed/
