Hey! I've heard that for a puppy, the growth of the adult teeth after losing the puppy teeth can give you an indication of their "real age". Then, for a dog over 1 year old, the deposit of tartar in the dog's mouth can give you an idea, but it's much more vague. You can ask your vet for more details!

Hello jimdavis,

That is a very interesting question that we are sure many dog owners ask themselves.

For a very long time we believed that to calculate your dog's age in human years you had to multiply by 7 your dog's age. Well, it turns out it's more complicated than that... We won't go too much into details and would advise you to stay tuned as an article will soon be published 🧐 but here is our dog age calculator to help you figure out how old is your dog in human years.

Hope it helps 😄
