❤️Meet Penina, a delightful 3-year-old dog with a heart full of love and a spirit full of curiosity. When she's relaxed and comfortable around her people, she flashes an adorable, derpy smile that's sure to melt your heart.

🧡Penina is incredibly loving and affectionate with the people she trusts, particularly with her current carer and their 11 and 13-year-old daughters. She adores a good armpit scratch and cherishes playtime with her favourite toys.

💛A true explorer at heart, Penina loves sniffing out animals and critters in the garden. She is toilet trained and enjoys the comfort of her crate. While she can be a bit enthusiastic on walks, she is familiar with leashes and harnesses, and with a little patience, she’ll improve.

💚Penina does experience fear-based aggression towards males, especially in situations where she cannot become familiar with them due to infrequent contact. She thrives in environments where she feels secure and can gradually build trust.

💙Penina can live with other dogs, provided introductions are done slowly and carefully. However, she would be best suited to a cat-free and child-free home beyond teenage years due to her nervousness.

🚗 For travel, we ask fosterers and adopters who are interested in UK-based dogs to assist with transport by meeting part way. Due to this, UK dogs have a reduced fee, and fosterers are offered fuel reimbursement. Transport can be arranged if necessary.
