Meet Daisy & Poppy – Sweet Sisters Searching for Their Forever Homes

Date of Birth: 10 March 2025

Breed: Mixed Size: Medium (when fully grown)

Location: Ayrshire, Scotland Health: Fully vaccinated, flea/worm treated, pet passport, BC tested (UK)

Spay Status: Not yet spayed – must be completed under adoption contract when old enough Daisy and Poppy are two beautiful sisters who’ve overcome a rough start to life and are now ready to blossom in loving homes. Found as tiny puppies on the street, covered in ticks and desperately unwell, they were rushed to a vet for urgent care. Thanks to dedicated treatment and lots of love, they’ve made a full recovery and are now fit, healthy, and full of joy. Now safe in our rescue in Ayrshire, these girls have shown us just how affectionate and friendly they truly are. They adore cuddles and attention, and get along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. They have gentle natures and would be a great fit for many types of homes – including those with children or other friendly dogs. Although they haven’t been tested with cats, their young age means that with proper introductions and a dog-savvy cat, it’s likely they could live alongside feline friends too.

A Few Things to Know: Daisy and Poppy have never lived in a home before, so their adopters will need to be patient and committed to helping them learn. They’re crate trained and clean, so housetraining is expected to come quickly. Basic training, including lead work and house manners, will be needed – but they’re smart and eager to please!

What They Need: A loving, safe home (separately) Continued guidance, training, and socialisation A secure garden would be ideal Lots of cuddles, care, and reassurance

Ready to Adopt? If you can offer Daisy or Poppy the loving forever home they deserve, please visit www.savingandrehomingstrays.org and complete an adoption application form.

A virtual home check and £500 adoption donation will apply. These girls are ready for the next chapter – could it be with you?
