Luna was originally handed in to our New Romney centre with puppies as her owners housing situation changed. Since then, all her puppies have found loving homes but Luna is still sadly looking for her forever home.
When Luna first came in, she was very wary of men and had so much energy to burn that she would become very frustrated. Luna is now at our Edenbridge centre and has gotten used the daily routines and has calmed right down.
She can still be wary of new men she has not met before but has come to like many male members of staff and volunteers. Luna is ok with other dogs but doesn't like dogs that are to boisterous or bouncy so must be the only pet in the home.
Luna loves her walks but will need further lead training as she gets very excited and can pull. Luna did not seem to know what a love was and at first used to freeze when receiving attention.
She now will jump up at her door every time you get her out for a quick cuddle and a fuss. Luna will make a lovely pet for someone who has the time and patience to help with further training and socialising. No small animals or children.
