What's the minimum weight to get a female cat spayed?

Great news! The little rascal is actually 'deceptively solid'...
Thanks for all your replies.
I weighed the little one tonight (at the cost of some nasty scratches ^^) and she’s a real featherweight. She’s only about 2.6 lbs (she had stunted growth and she’s a small cat anyway).
I’m going to give the vet a ring tomorrow morning to get their advice and I’ll keep you all posted.
Well, weight is a bit of a factor, or at least that’s what our vet suggested. But we were talking about 3-month-old kittens that didn't even weigh 2.2 lbs or 3.3 lbs, and I know some vets do practise early neutering.
As for the little girl in question, since she’s reached maturity, even if she is a tiny thing, I’d imagine she must be over 4.4 lbs :) so there shouldn't be any issue operating on her (unless she’s poorly).
Hi,
I agree with @Courgette.
Weight does play a part in the cost of the anaesthesia, but the surgery is a flat rate for all female cats weighing up to 11 lbs.
If you were having a Great Dane neutered... oops! 🙂
As she’s starting to come into heat, the time has come. If there’s no risk of her getting outside, you can wait until she's finished this cycle and get it done before the next one starts.
