At some point in her life Treacle became a stray. She was lucky to find someone who allowed her into the house and fed her but then she was allowed to wander, un-neutered for years having litter after litter with the babies being sold. Eventually the 'owner' came to understand that Treacle desperately needed to be rehomed and so she has come to Last Chance with her last litter of kittens to get all the veterinary care they so need and of course when the time is right, to be neutered and to find a very loving home of her own where she will be loved and properly cared for. Treacle is a very sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys company and lots of gentle fuss, but she does not enjoy being picked up or handled and so she is looking for an adult only home with gentle people who are happy to give her time to get used to being a pet and being loved and looked after. In the last few weeks she has discovered what toys are for and it is lovely to see her forgetting all her worries with a little catnip mouse or a piece of string. With a little bit of time and gentle affection Treacle is going to blossom into a very sweet pet for kind and loving new owners.
