Oakwood Dog Rescue

Oakwood Dog Rescue was set up by Gill Williams, founder of Oakwood Canine Services in 2009, initially to support clients who could no longer take care of their dogs for any reason. The Registered Charity has since grown, and now rescues dogs from across the UK and abroad and has began to specialise in rehoming the unwanted Romanian rescues that receive very poor treatment and abuse after witnessing this first-hand ourselves on countless trips to the Romanian shelters. Based in Hull on Sutton Fields, near Kingswood, the centre is ran by a fantastic team who work tirelessly to take in, assess and re-home as many dogs as possible.
