Two years ago, Lexis Noelle was driving along when something walking down the street caught her eye.
A strange sight on the road
Surprised by what she saw, she pulled over and walked closer. She then noticed that the animal had its head stuck inside a cup. At first, she thought it was an opossum before realising it was actually a tiny kitten who was struggling to breathe.
A brand new home
Fearing that the kitten might suffocate, Lexis rushed to free him. "I took him into the car, opened the lid of the cup, and he looked at me with wide eyes and a messy face," she told website The Dodo.
Initially, Lexis planned to hand the kitten over to a rescue centre, but she quickly changed her mind. After just two days at home, she knew that little Fudge was there to stay.
Now fully grown, little Fudge is doing wonderfully and is thoroughly spoiled by his family.
