On a particularly sweltering day in China, a poor homeless dog was desperately searching for a bit of shade and cool air to soothe his suffering. That was when an incredibly unusual scene unfolded in the sky.
A large drone, originally deployed to wash and maintain solar panel installations, crossed paths with the thirsty dog. Instead of sticking to its automated route, the remote-controlled device took a completely different turn.
An unexpected shower
Hovering right above the pooch, the drone began spraying a fine mist of cool water over him. Although he was surprised at first, the dog quickly realised what was happening and settled down comfortably under the life-saving spray to make the most of this welcomed relief.
A heartwarming viral sensation
As reported by the news outlet 20 Minutes, the filmed scene quickly melted the hearts of internet users worldwide after it was shared online. It is a beautiful reminder that when technology is used with kindness, it can bring moments of pure comfort to those who need it most.
