Sam's heart went out to him. He opened his car door and called the dog over to offer him some food. Sam took the pup to a local vet to check if he had a family and to make sure he was doing alright. The check-up showed that the dog was in good health, but he didn't have an owner. Sam brought him home and quickly bonded with this sweet, gentle companion, whom he named Gus.
The wonderful news is that he has now officially adopted Gus! The pair are now enjoying all sorts of grand adventures together, from hiking and days at the beach to swimming in rivers and waterfalls—and, of course, plenty of cuddles!
