A rocky start to life
The little kitten in our story has turned her life around completely.
As reported by the website The Dodo, the kitten, named Dove, was found abandoned in a cardboard box. She was taken in straight away by the Stray Cat Club, a rescue charity that wasted no time in getting her the help she needed.
At just five weeks old, she weighed a mere 10 ounces (288 grams) – an incredibly low weight for her age. Fortunately, the tiny kitten was surrounded by dedicated people who were determined to help her thrive.
A big personality in a tiny body
Slowly but surely, Dove began to put on weight, much to the delight of the rescue charity.
And as she grew, her wonderful personality started to shine through. One of her absolute favourite pastimes was bossing around her foster family’s resident dog: "We are also starting to see her funny little personality show more and more each day, especially when she teases the 90lb dog," the rescue charity shared.
Today, the tiny kitten has grown into a strong, healthy cat. Dove is doing wonderfully and still loves nothing more than teasing her canine best friend.
