A helping hand from a partner rescue
The sweet dog was renamed Snow White. Volunteers from Seventh Heaven Rescue in New York, a partner organisation of the Louisiana pound, offered to take her in and give her a second chance at life.
When she arrived at the rescue, the poor dog was soaked, absolutely filthy, and covered in fleas. Fortunately, she was at a healthy weight. Rescuers soon placed her with a foster family.
Snow White quickly showed her affectionate personality. Once she felt safe, she started following her humans everywhere, constantly craving their company.
A wonderful adoption
Snow White loves playing tug-of-war, spending time with other dogs, and snuggling up to her foster parents. In the end, she didn’t have to wait long. Her New York foster family fell so deeply in love with her that they couldn't bear to let her go... They decided to adopt her permanently!
Today, Snow White has finally found the forever home she was waiting for. We are absolutely thrilled for her and wish her and her family all the very best!
